The mission of the Berthoud Sportsman’s Club is to offer and support recreational opportunities for it’s members and to promote the safe enjoyment of outdoor recreation within the community.

Berthoud Sportsman’s Club is limited to 135 members.

The Berthoud Sportsman’s Club maintains a lease for fishing rights with the Loveland Lake and Ditch Company. Loveland Lake is located between Hwy 287 and Larimer County Rd 17, just northwest of the town of Berthoud. The entrance to the lake is off Larimer Country Rd. 17. Access is available only to members and their guests.

New Members must be adults, age 21 or older.  Applications from residents living in the 80513 zipcode are given preference on our waiting list over non-80513 zipcode applications.  New members must be proposed for membership by one primary endorser who resides within the 80513 zipcode, and seconded by one secondary endorser with voting privileges. Potential membership applications are considered in the order received to fill membership vacancies, if any. The current waiting list for membership is approximately 4 years at our current retention rate. Successful applicants are notified and are elected to membership by vote at the next annual meeting.   The initiation fee and dues are due within one week of election to membership and annual dues are payable upon membership acceptance.
